She attended school in Lowry and at age 15 moved with her family to Java, SD where she attended Java High School. She later attended the School of Commerce in Aberdeen, SD. She married Herbert Himrich at Java on September 12, 1949 and they settled in Selby. Juanita was a Watkins Sales Representative for 22 years, retiring December 31, 2005. Juanita also enjoyed going to movies, never missing a movie shown at the Star Theatre in Selby during the good old days.
